Farmgate Festival

Farms open 25 and 26 November 2017

Welcome to Farmgate Festival – a premiere food and farming event in the Tamar Valley of northern Tasmania.

A selection of farmers and producers are opening their gates for the weekend, on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th November 2017, giving you the chance to go behind the scenes on the farm, meet the people who grow and make your food, and hear their stories.

A fabulous Festival Feast on Saturday night features Tasmanian chef Massimo Mele and the outstanding produce which makes our region a destination of choice for food and wine lovers from all over the world.

Where to Start!

Our Festival Hub at the Exeter Showgrounds is a great place to start. You can buy tickets and get programs there, and our staff can help you decided which farms to visit. Farm tours are on the hour or half hour, with some farm offering tastings and sales of produce too.

Join us for a fabulous weekend – and unearth real produce!
